Lock 92 Keeper's House, Rochdale Canal
Lock 92 lowers the Rochdale canal into the Bridgewater at Castlefield. In the background are the railway viaducts that straddle the Castlefield basin - the Manchester terminus of the Bridgewater canal.

On our trip of the Cheshire Ring, this lock was the first lock for two of first time "Lock Ladies". What an indoctrination!

My mum used to live in this house, my dad used to walk the dog on the canal, my mum used to hang out the window and talk to him.
